Let me explain
This morning I’m looking at last night’s fun graphic and I just want to make sure everyone understands–this is NOT a slam to Andrea, at all. I loved her post and left a comment on her blog about waiting for the movement to reclaim “prude” (in the way that sex-positives try to reclaim some, IMHO, unreclaimable words, or the way lesbians reclaimed “dyke” for example). At first I thought, t-shirt! But then I remembered all the obnoxious gear out there being marketed to preteens, like sweatpants with the word “pink” or “juicy” across the ass. I couldn’t find the right photo of sweatpants to use, so I settled for diversity panties, since it seemed like a good way to make fun of everyone involved, all at once. But then, this morning it seemed ambiguous enough to require this explanation. I hope you think it’s funny.
