Amy Goes to Colorado
Kya and I enjoyed a couple days at Linda’s house in Colorado. You might recall Linda from the rat incident. Anyway, here’s where Linda lives with her three dogs, Holly, Hoot, and Hopp, and her two cats, Bandit and Lil Darlin:

And here’s one good reason why she lives there:
Linda leases her acreage for llama grazing, so a large part of the visit was taken up with llama watching. This is Thunder:

This is a llama whose name Linda couldn’t remember:

Here is an example of my emerging photographic specialty, critter behinds:

When it rains, llamas head for the garage!

On the way out for pizza, we saw a flock of wild turkeys:

And on the way home, while I was conveniently getting my period somewhere between Woodland Park, Colorado, and Raton, New Mexico, we saw a herd of bison grazing!

So all in all, including the two pair of antelope we saw on the drive up but which I didn’t have a chance to photograph, it was a critter-surfeited weekend. Of course, Kathy and Jane, I enjoyed meeting you as well. ![]()
