Did I mention computer games are sexist?
This particular game is constructed around the unoriginal gimmick that as you progress through the levels, you build a settlement/village/town/city/civilization that grows with each achievement you make in the game. As your town grows, it is populated with cute little animated graphical characters doing various things. Below you can see the characters currently existing in my town (sorry for the blurry graphics, I blew them up so you could see them better):
Do you notice the thing all these persons have in common? Why yes Virginia, judging from their lush and abundant facial hair, they are all male.
I’m up to level 95 in this game, and I dare you to guess the nature of the only female character who has appeared to this point?
