Radical lesbian feminist theory vs the fortune cookie
Here’s part of a comment I left over at Starfish’s place early yesterday:
I’m even wary anymore of wanting to do the “right” thing, after taking in Marilyn Frye’s piece about “ethics” and the fact that wanting to be good/right, wanting to know the right thing to do in every situation, is in fact a preoccupation of people who are trying to hold onto their position or even advance higher on the hierarchy.
